What is Botox?

Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nucieva are all brand names for a group of drugs known as neuromodulators. Neuromodulators are a prescription drug that when injected into muscles block the transmission of nerve impulses resulting in limited muscle contraction and movement. 

Neuromodulators are approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles. By restricting muscle movement, injections can soften frown lines between the eyebrows (glabella lines), forehead and crows feet. Neuromodulators can also be helpful in the treatment of medical conditions such as migraines, excessive sweating and teeth grinding (bruxism). 

Is Botox Cosmetic Right For You?

How Long Does It Take?

Most procedures take 10-15 minutes with no recovery time needed, this allows you to return to your daily schedule immediately. 

Does It Hurt?

• Injections are made with a tiny needle strategically placed to target specific muscles.
• We may numb the area or even apply ice to reduce the risk of bruising and/or swelling (see comfort menu for complete list of options).

How Long Until Results Are Visible?

• Results will start to be noticeable in 3-4 days; with full results expected at 2 weeks.

• Expect results to last 3-4 months.
