What are neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators are a prescription drug that when injected into muscles block the transmission of nerve impulses resulting in limited muscle contraction and movement. 

Neuromodulators are approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles. By restricting muscle movement, injections can soften frown lines between the eyebrows (glabella lines), forehead and crows feet.
